History
Gia's Salon opened for its first appointment on April 13, 2004. The salon was started by Kathy Wetzel of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. Kathy has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 26 years. During that time she performed services and maintained relationships with her clients at the same company in Twin Lakes.

In 2004, she then decided to open her own salon and found the location in Spring Grove, Illinois. It was an easy decision to name her salon after her daughter, Gia. Two years later, Gia graduated from the Regency Beauty Institute of Madison, Wisconsin. The special mother-daughter team has welcomed clients to experience the unique and creative atmosphere.

With the help and support of friends and family, Kathy has begun a business of beauty that continues to flourish and welcome clients from surrounding communities.
